Ingredients

  • Chicken - 300 gms
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Pepper - 1 tsp
  • Soy Sauce - 1 tsp
  • Egg white - 1
  • Corn starch - 3 tbsp
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Garlic - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Dry Red Chilly - 5 - 6
  • Brown Sugar - 3 tbsp

Method

  • Since the chicken needs to marinate for 15 minutes, get that started first. In a medium bowl, marinate the chicken with salt, pepper, corn starch, egg white, vinegar.
  • Fry the chicken pieces in oil until crispy.
  • In a pan saute ginger, garlic, chilies, soy sauce, sugar, and cornflour slurry.
  • Add some roasted peanuts and serve.

As different soy sauces have variable sodium levels, adjust the taste as needed. Add a little extra sugar and water if the sauce is too salty. Add a pinch of salt to taste if it's not salty enough.
