Ingredients
- Chicken - 300 gms
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Pepper - 1 tsp
- Soy Sauce - 1 tsp
- Egg white - 1
- Corn starch - 3 tbsp
- Vinegar - 1 tsp
- Garlic - 1 tbsp
- Ginger - 1 tbsp
- Dry Red Chilly - 5 - 6
- Brown Sugar - 3 tbsp
Method
- Since the chicken needs to marinate for 15 minutes, get that started first. In a medium bowl, marinate the chicken with salt, pepper, corn starch, egg white, vinegar.
- Fry the chicken pieces in oil until crispy.
- In a pan saute ginger, garlic, chilies, soy sauce, sugar, and cornflour slurry.
- Add some roasted peanuts and serve.
As different soy sauces have variable sodium levels, adjust the taste as needed. Add a little extra sugar and water if the sauce is too salty. Add a pinch of salt to taste if it's not salty enough.
