Ingredients to make Tamarind Candy Tamarind / Imli - 100 gms Jaggery - 100 gms Water - 1 cup Salt - 1/2 tsp Chilly Powder - 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala - 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp Ghee / Vegetable Oil - 1 tbsp
Method to make Imli Toffee 1. Boil Tamarind with some water to make it soft. 2. Add this to a strainer and seperate the pulp from it and discard the rest. 3. Add this imli pulp to a pan and boil it. 4. Add jaggery with all the spices and cook till it becomes thick. 5. Towards the end add some ghee or oil and mix. 6. When it cools down completly take small quantites into cling wrap pieces and wrap.
